How Twine?
You can find a neat explanation of “Why Twine” on the About page. Here, who made Twine possible?
Twine is of course a team effort.
Twine offers something that crosses job categories and isn’t easy to put into one box, and I knew from long experience of working with designers that I needed professional input. I called Keith Hancox from Lark Design who I’ve known for many years.
Keith’s expertise led him to recommend starting with the copy and the tone of voice, and introduced me to Sophie Allen from Yarn. Sophie is a fantastic copywriter whose whole philosophy is to start with the words, get them right and build from there. Between Keith and Sophie, we were able to define that indefinable thing and decided to rename the business. Sophie then went on to weave clever copy from the threads she was given and Keith created the fabulous visuals and the site architecture you see here. And meantime, Kirsty Northover from Brandcology squeezed in a photo shoot for me in her lovely home studio/garden to fit my schedule. So my thanks to these three superb collaborators for getting us here.
And of course, I want to thank my lovely clients who heard my message and said:
“Yes, we’ll have some of that.”
