Journey mapping for tourism consultancy
White Stag Tourism wanted me to help bring to life a strategy to increase footfall to Glasgow’s museums.
White Stag Tourism is a sustainable tourism consultancy based in Scotland and run by Yvonne Wagoun. Yvonne approached me for help with an interesting client she was working with: Glasgow Life.
Glasgow Life is a not-for-profit working to support the mental, physical and economic wellbeing of the city. Their Destination Team promotes everything that makes Glasgow a great place for people to live in, meet and visit. They showcase everything from museums and internationally recognised events to new restaurants, attractions, and hotels.
This assignment for White Stag was to design a co-creation workshop for the Glasgow Life team to explore improvements in the customer journey and increase footfall. Yvonne was to facilitate the session, to be run at one of Glasgow’s award-winning museums. Twine provided the know-how on journey mapping, insight gathering and ideation so Yvonne could run an engaging, interactive session for her client.
Feedback from the group was very positive and the team were very pleased with the results: concrete actions Glasgow Life could take to simplify the customer journey and lead to higher engagement with their target audiences.
